Sumak Sustainable Travel S.R.L. – Disclaimer

Our sustainable tourism platform connects you with local tour operators and other tourism companies who will provide the travel services you request, such as tours, accommodation and transportation. We have carefully selected those tourism companies and believe they are reliable. We permanently monitor their performance, including their financial stability and the level of customer’s satisfaction. We also have commercial agreements with them, through which they have committed to follow our responsible tourism policy, our sales and operations guidelines and the principles of fair trade.

As they will be providing the services directly to you, it is important for you to understand the limits of our liability. We act as a referrer and not as a tour operator, travel arranger or organiser. We connect you with selected tourism companies of our network so that you can liaise directly with them to book your ideal tour, holiday or vacation. You will enter a contract with them, therefore they are fully liable for every aspect of the product or service you buy, according to their own terms and conditions.

As part of our agreement, they will provide you with a copy of their terms and conditions and cancellation policy before you book. We do not take payments, act as a broker or intervene in any issues relating to your holiday or vacation. However, we will ask for your feedback after you are back home, as part of our quality monitoring efforts. Without limiting this general statement, Sumak Sustainable Travel S.R.L. is not liable for any injury and/or damage to persons or property occurring during or as a consequence of any tour, holiday or vacation taken as a result of enquiries made through this sustainable tourism platform.
